I wanted to try this on my fishing gear. During a session the rod and reel handles can become quite messy. I frequently wipe them down. Although saltwater on the rod handle isn't a problem, I try to avoid allowing the reel to get soaked. I used the spray after the wash/wipe partly to disperse any residual water and also to improve the grip. It seems to work well. I use it for badminton racquet and it's so strong sometimes my soaking wet hand literally glues to the grip which is great as I don't have to worry about smashing the ball and losing grip!
