Easy to fit, funky design, good feel and should last a long time

I am an amazon vine reviewer. I am reviewing the tennis over grips made by the RAQUEX company. On average, I play about 10 sets of outdoor tennis every week. One of the normal consumable items is the tennis grip. I usually fit an over grip over as delivered grip that fits next to the grip itself. After many tennis matches – usually doubles for me – the over grips begin to show their age. The frequency of when individual players replace their grip can vary. This depends on the force a player hits a ball. This is transmitted to the players hands and arms etc via the grip.If I don’t hold the grip firmly enough, then it can twist a little in my hand rather than stay fixed between my fingers and palm. I have my own way of replacing an over grip. But a new over grip will last for maybe 2-3 weeks. If it rains, then the grips can wear out at a faster rate.Based on the above, I decided to assess the RAQUEX over grips. The sturdy grey box holds 3 grips. They are very colourful with orange, blue and grey swirling patterns.I removed the over grip from one of my rackets – exposing the as supplied grip – which was in good condition. The back of the box shows 6 picture steps to enable the fitting of the RAQUEX grip in a consistent way. There is also a QR code on the box which shows 9 fitting steps. The narrow start if the grip has a “START” symbol so it is easy to ensure you start the process at the bottom of the grip – the furthest away from the strings. There is a peel off strip at the bottom of the over grip to enable you to stick the over grip to the racket handle. The main thing is to consistently begin to wind the over grip anti clockwise along the grip whilst both winding and turning the racket handle working your way towards the top of the grip. The diagram (Number 4) shows making a slight over lapping of the grip. I try and aim for as little overlap as possible, so each part of the over grip feels flush. I also ensure that the over grip is in tension – by pulling it slightly as it travels up the handle.Once I reach the top of the handle, I trim off any excess over grip. Some tennis racket handles are longer than others. As the box claims, the over grip is soft and looks to be very durable. The box also says the over grip is tacky. Based on my experiences I would say that it is at the drier end of the tacky spectrum.I took the racket out and played 9 sets so far this week with 3 more due on Friday.I found the over grip easy to hold and I still got the normal “feedback” from my racket when I hit approaching tennis balls of various speeds. The RAQUEX 3 over grips should last me a long time. They are well worth a try.I took a photo of the RAQUEX over grip. I am not able to drag and drop or copy and paste it - sorry for this

    Grips and sticks well

I ordered some of this overgrip tape for my rounders bat as it was getting a bit slippery with wet hands. I like that the adhesive is strong and the tape allows a bit of stretch to really get it just how you want it. With 3 rolls in the pack you can have some spare or simply layer another one on if you want more padding. Highly recommended.

    Very well made!

These racket grips are fantastic very effective and is very solid very firm I can easily grip my tennis racket I use it for tennis I also used it for my badminton racket as well and it's not that great on another interrupted however he does do the job because it's quite long so it does reach fairly high so needs to be cut off at a certain point however however was brilliant works very well grips very well feels very good on the hand and it has lost it so far so good and I definitely recommend it especially for the price.

Pack of 3 camo over grips

These overgrip tapes offer good value for money. They come with some self-adhesive on the starting end and a separate piece of sticky tape is included to fix the other end in position. This allows you to readjust your wrapping as necessary until you feel satisfied. You may find that the grip is a bit longer than what you need for a badminton racket (which is what I used it for) - in this case, you can just cut it short or keep wrapping up the handle until you run out of grip. The grip is soft and comfy and also offers vibration damping. It looks pretty good after wrapping as well.It worth pointing out that this is an overgrip tape, so it will feel thin and is usually wrapped on top of the original grip. If you like a thicker grip tape or are wrapping directly on top of a wooden handle, this would not be right for you.
